We are on the hunt for a Director-level powerhouse to oversee our Special Education and Student Services programs. This is not your average director gig—this is a leadership role where strategy meets compassion, and compliance meets innovation.

You’ll manage a team of dedicated special education professionals, ensure seamless integration with instructional departments, and keep us in lockstep with state and federal regulations. If you know your IDEA from your 504s and can lead with both heart and hustle—we want to meet you.

Valid MI Teaching License
Special Education Endorsement
Full Approval (or eligibility) for Director of Special Education
Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s highly preferred)
Proven experience in special education and leadership roles
CPR, TB test, health certificate (as required)
Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
18+ and ready to make a real impact

Directing special education and student services programs
Ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations
Collaborating with RESA, instructional departments, and the state
Managing and mentoring special education staff
Making a difference in the lives of students and families
