Travel RN CVICU Nights

CVICU RN – 12hr NOCs – 11 weeks  – Appleton, WI 
$2,758 GROSS WEEKLY
$42 hr. | $84 OT | $1,246 weekly stipends

*PREVIOUS TRAVEL REQUIRED – No travelers coming from a facility or their home location is within 50 miles from ThedaCare Corporate – Neenah, WI campus*
Contract Length: 11 weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Guaranteed Hours Per Week:  36hrs
Shift Requirements:  12hr NOCS  
Start times: 530p
*any missed shift must be made up within 2 weeks of the absence
Weekends: Every other
Holidays: As needed
On Call/Call Back Requirements:  Rare due to low census
Required Certifications: WI RN, AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, NIHSS
Education: BSN not Required, Strongly Preferred
Minimum Experience: 3 years REQUIRED
Minimum 2 years CVICU experience REQUIRED
Charting : Epic within the last year REQUIRED
Required Skillset: Must have Fresh Heart experience. Phlebotomy skills strongly preferred (skill would be expected to learn) 
22 bed general med/surg ICU with an open heart program
respiratory failure, STEMI, IABP, Septic Shock, TTM, CRRT, COPD, CHF; Carotid endarterectomies, whipples, AAA
Ratio 1:2 could increase due to COVID

The Coronary Care Registered Nurse is a professional nurse who coordinates the delivery of nursing care for critically ill, post-operative, ventilator, post cardiac arrest, post heart cath, hemodynamic stabilization and other critically ill patients in the units.  The Registered Nurse responds to codes and emergent situations as a team member within the hospital.  The Registered Nurse participates in patient and family teaching, and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards of professional nursing practice in the intensive care/coronary care setting.
