Job Title: Registered Substance Abuse Counselor
Location: Escondido, CA
Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday, 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM
Pay: $25/hour
Job Type: Full-Time

We’re seeking a dedicated Registered Substance Abuse Counselor to support clients in addiction recovery. If you’re passionate about helping individuals overcome substance use, homelessness, and mental health challenges, this role offers an opportunity to truly change lives in a structured and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist certified counselors in managing client caseloads

  • Conduct screenings, facilitate group sessions, and develop treatment plans

  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records

  • Enforce program policies and ensure a safe, drug-free environment

  • Collaborate with internal staff and external agencies

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Certification with CCAPP, CADTP, or CAADE

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience

  • Strong communication, organizational, and crisis response skills

  • Experience working with addiction, mental health, or homelessness
