Position: School Aide Location: Santa Barbara, CA Start Date: August 2025 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 30 hours/week Pay: $18–$20/hour Grade Levels: PreK–12th grade Length: Full 2025–2026 school year

Overview: Amergis Staffing is hiring School Aides to support students in general and special education classrooms across Santa Barbara. This full-time, onsite role is ideal for individuals passionate about working with children and contributing to a positive school environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers with classroom instruction and student supervision

• Support students with academic and behavioral needs

• Help implement IEP accommodations and behavior plans

• Escort students and assist with mobility or therapeutic care needs

• Maintain a safe and structured learning environment

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Experience working with children or as a caregiver required

• Must be comfortable with toileting and personal care support

• CPR certification and TB clearance (if applicable)

• Must be at least 18 years old and meet all federal, state, and local requirements
