Hiring LVN School Nurse - Up to $35/hr

Amergis Staffing is hiring for LVN’s for the 25/26 school year!!

We are looking for LVNs who are committed and passionate about having a positive impact on a child’s life. The position is Monday through Friday during school hours – exact scheduling may vary dependent on school site placement.

In this position, you would be working either:

• 1:1 with a student, supervising the them throughout the day
• Classroom setting
• Health office setting involving med pass, diabetic support, paperwork and documenting

The top 5 modalities include, but are not limited to:

• G-tubes
• Seizure Disorders/Monitoring
• Mental/physical delays
• Med pass
• Vent/Trach

Minimum Requirements: 

• Licensed as a Licensed Practical/Licensed Vocational Nurse in state(s) where practicing  
• One year of School Nursing/Pediatric experience, preferred 
• At least one year of recent tracheostomy experience is required, unless approved by Amergis Clinical Designee 
• Completes tracheostomy competencies successfully 
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice 
• Current CPR if applicable 
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) 
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
• Must be at least 18 years of age
