Amergis Staffing is currently seeking experienced and qualified Registered Nurses (RN) for a Psychiatric facility in the Butner, NC area. The details for these positions are as follows:
Position Description:
The Psychiatric/Mental Health (PMH) Nurse, requires a wide range of nursing, psychosocial, and neurobiological expertise. PMH nurses promote well-being through prevention and education, in addition to the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health and substance use disorders. The nurse demonstrates ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner and demonstrates critical thinking and performance ability in the coordination of patient care. The PMH nurse works in a variety of settings and provides comprehensive care to individuals, families, and communities when applicable.
Position Details:
- Start Date: August 18th, 2025
- Hours/Week: 36/48hrs rotating weekly or 40hrs
- Weekend Requirement: Yes, every other weekend
- Length of Contract: 13 weeks
Available Shifts:
- Days, 7a-7:30pm, 36/48hrs, EOW
- Nights- 7p-7:30a, 36/48hrs, EOW
Minimum Requirements:
- Current RN Licensure in-state practicing
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
