Amergis Staffing is partnered with a much-respected facility in Fitchburg, MA who is currently seeking qualified Special Education Teachers to assist them on a contractual basis.

Details of the position include:

• Position: Special Education Teacher

• Description: Openings are available across Elementary, Middle, and High School grade levels. Licensed teachers with MA DESE certification (Mild/Moderate or Severe) are required. Roles include both sub-separate and inclusion classrooms, with a primary focus on sub-separate needs. Caseloads are capped at 12 for sub-separate settings and 24 for inclusion. Responsibilities include instructional planning, classroom and support staff management, collaboration across departments, IEP writing and progress reporting, and active participation in IEP meetings.

• Location: Fitchburg, MA

• Facility Type: Public K–12 School District

• Start: August 2025

• Duration: 36 weeks (Full School Year)

• Hours: Monday–Friday, School Hours (varies by site)

• Pay Rate: $50–$65/hour

• Requirements: Active MA DESE Special Education License (Mild/Moderate or Severe)
