25/26 School Year ABA Paras - Fitchburg, MA

Amergis Staffing is partnered with a much-respected facility in Fitchburg, MA who is currently seeking qualified ABA Paraprofessionals to assist them on a contractual basis.

Details of the position include:

• Position: ABA Paraprofessional

• Description: Two openings are available across grade levels, with positions primarily in sub-separate classrooms. Roles include 1:1 support, small group, and general classroom assistance. Elementary and Middle School have the greatest needs, with some coverage required at the High School level. Candidates should have one year of ABA experience and a strong background supporting students with ASD, developmental disabilities, and behavioral challenges. Must be able to address aggressive behaviors, elopement, flopping, and other safety-related concerns. Familiarity with de-escalation strategies, trauma-informed practices, data collection tools and procedures, and discrete trial methods is required. Flexibility to support other classrooms, recess/lunch/bus duty, and potential changing/toileting assistance is expected.

• Start: August 2025

• Duration: 36 weeks (Full School Year)

• Hours: Monday–Friday, School Hours (varies by location)

• Pay Rate: $22–$27/hour (based on experience) 

• Requirements: ABA experience highly preferred; skills in behavior support, trauma-informed care, and data collection required
