The School Nurse plays a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to students within a school setting. This position is responsible for applying the nursing process to ensure the health and well-being of students, while also potentially overseeing contracted services. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver student/client care in accordance with nursing standards and physician orders.
- Maintain accountability for the nursing process and outcomes.
- May supervise other healthcare professionals within contracted services.

Minimum Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Licensed Vocational Nurse).
- Active nursing license in the state(s) of practice.
- Minimum of one year of professional nursing experience (preferred).
- Current CPR certification.
- PPD test or chest x-ray (if applicable).
- Current health certificate (as required by contract or state regulation).
- Compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
