Sub-Separate Elementary School Teachers - 25/26 School Year

Amergis Staffing is partnered with a much-respected facility in New Bedford, MA who are currently seeking qualified Special Education Teachers to assist them on a contractual basis.

Details of the position include:

Position: Sub-Separate Special Education Teacher (Mild–Moderate & Severe)

Description: Licensed Special Education Teachers will work across various classroom settings including sub-separate, inclusion, and transition programs to support students with diverse needs. Responsibilities include individualized instruction based on IEPs, collaboration with support staff, and fostering inclusive learning environments.

Location: Various schools across New Bedford, MA

Facility Type: Public School District

Start: September 2025

Duration: Through the end of the 2025–2026 school year

Hours: Full-time; schedule varies by location

Pay Rate: $50.00–$60.00 per hour

Requirements:

• DESE Licensure in Special Education (Mild/Moderate or Severe)
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field
• Minimum 1 year of Special Education teaching experience
