Behavior Technician – Hiring Experienced Behavior

The BehaviorTechnician works to facilitate educational and behavioral services withchildren and adults with special needs and collaborates with schoolprofessionals and other behavioral specialists to achieve learning andbehavioral goals and objectives.

GlendaleUnified School District Floater Behavior Technician Job Description 

DESCRIPTION OFROLE:

  1. Provide instructional and behavioral support as needed to the teacher and classroom staff
  2.  The floater must be able to build rapport with students and staff quickly
  3.  Have a strong foundational knowledge of ABA principles (e.g., identifying functions of behavior, implementing preventative strategies, prompting functional communication)
  4.  Be familiar with common data collection methods (e.g., frequency, duration)
  5.  Be able to quickly review a student’s IEP or BIP for further guidance on individualized behavior management strategies and goals.
  6. Utilize visual supports without being explicitly told (e.g., visual schedule, token board)
  7.  Assists in meeting special needs which may include feeding and toileting students

·        Hiring immediately for the 2025-2026 school year.

·        M-F – Full time position

·        Competitive compensation – $24 – $30 (dependingon experience)
