School Social Worker Needed | Kansas City, MO | 25-26 School Year

Step into a pivotal role where you’ll be the heartbeat of a multidisciplinary team, guiding students through social work interventions with empathy and expertise. As a School Social Worker, you will play a crucial part in developing Individualized Health Plans (IHP) and Individualized Education Programs (IEP) to ensure every student receives the support they need to thrive academically and personally.

• Location: Kansas City, MO
• Compensation: $42 / Hour
• Hours: 37.5 / Week
• Grade Levels: K-8
• Schedule: Monday – Friday (No Nights, No Weekends, No Holidays) 
• Duration: 25-26 School Year
• Weekly Pay 
• Start: 2 weeks after offer

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree
• Active LCSW License

The Social Worker collaborates with the multidisciplinary team and provides input in the development of the IHP/IEP for students requiring social work intervention and support in the school setting.    

Minimum Requirements: 

• Holds a Professional Educator License with School Social Worker (SSW) endorsement as required by state, contract and/or facility
• May be required to have MSW or LCSW per state, contract or facility
• Current CPR if applicable 
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) 
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements?
• Must be at least 18 years of age
