Amergis is hiring 150 Behavioral Aides and 30 Substitutes to support students in the Twin Rivers Unified School District (CA).

  • Start Date: August 19, 2025
  • End Date: May 29, 2026
  • Weekly Hours: 20-35
  • Duration: Approx. 41 Weeks

?? Role Summary:

As a Behavior Technician, you’ll support students with special needs by working alongside educators and behavioral specialists to help them reach their learning and behavioral goals.

? Requirements:

Amergis Requirements:

  • High School Diploma
  • CPR Certification
  • TB Test (within the last 4 years)
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • TRUSD + Amergis Livescan

TRUSD Contractor App Requirements:

  • TB Test (within 90 days of hire)
  • Driver’s License

The Behavior Technician works to facilitate educational and behavioral services with children and adults with special needs and collaborates with school professionals and other behavioral specialists to achieve learning and behavioral goals and objectives.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Two (2) years of pediatric experience preferred
  • Current CPR if applicable
  • TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable   
  • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
