Now Hiring: School Nurse – 2025–2026 School Year

Location: Chula Vista, CA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6 hours/day (approx. 30 hours/week)
Pay Rate: $35/hour
Openings: 2
Start Date: August 2025
End Date: June 2026
Flexibility required on school site assignments

Position Overview:

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a dedicated School Nurse to join our team for the upcoming school year. The School Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality care and applying the nursing process in a school setting. This role may also include supervisory responsibilities within contracted services.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program (RN, LPN, or LVN)
  • Active nursing license in the state of California
  • Minimum of 1 year of professional nursing experience (preferred)
  • Current CPR certification
  • PPD or chest X-ray (if applicable)
  • Current Health Certificate (as required by contract or state)
  • Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
  • Must be 18 years or older
