Help 6th Graders in Kearney, NE as aSpecial Education Teacher for $40/hour!
TheSpecial Education (SPED) Resource Teacher assesses student needs and developsindividualized education plans (IEPs). They provide targeted instruction andcollaborate with staff to support students’ academic progress. Additionally,they monitor progress and communicate with parents to keep them informed.
$1,600 Gross Weekly
- Local Pay: $40 per hour (taxable wages)
- Start: August 11, 2025
- Duration: 32 weeks
- Hours: 40
- Location: Kearney, NE
Minimum Requirements:
- Please make sure you meet ALL REQUIREMENTS before applying to this role
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university preferred
- Valid state teaching certificate as required by state, contract/district regulations
- Minimum of one year experience in teaching environment preferred
- State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Elementary Teaching preferred
- State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Secondary Teaching preferred
- State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Special Teaching preferred
- Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) preferred
- Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
