    Amergis Educational Staffing is partnered with a school in Natick, MA to hire a Special Education Teachers to work with students on a contractual basis.

    Details of the Position Include:

    Location: Natick, MA

    Duration: 2025-2026 School Year

    Start Date: September 2025

    Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30am-3:30pm

    Requirements: MA DESE License 

    Looking for Special Education Teachers to support in all setting across the district. 

    Essential Responsibilities

    o Completes all special education requirements including progress reports, IEP development, and facilitation of annual review meetings. 

    Develops and administers curriculum consistent with school district goals and objectives.

    o Utilizes ABA principles within whole class, small group, and 1:1 instruction.

    o Collaborates with general education and related service staff to ensure implementation of students’ IEPs and meeting student needs.

    o Promotes a positive classroom environment that is safe and conducive to individualized and small group instruction, and student learning.

    o Develops lesson plans and instructional materials and translates lesson plans into learning experiences so as to best utilize the available time for instruction

    o Conducts ongoing assessment of student learning, and modifies instructional methods to fit individual student’s needs, including students with special needs; conducts individual and small group instruction as needed.

    o Organizes and maintains a system for accurate and complete record-keeping, grading, and reporting for all student activities, achievement and attendance as required by district procedures and applicable laws.

    o Encourages parental involvement in students’ education and ensures effective communication with students and parents.

    o Coordinates with other early childhood and/or elementary professional staff members, especially within grade level, to evaluate and assess curriculum, and participates in faculty meetings and committees.

    o Supervises students in activities that take place out of the classroom during the school day, including activities involving school transportation and personal care including toileting.

    o Administers standardized tests in accordance with District testing program

    Pay Rate: Up to $65/hour, based on experience

Minimum Requirements:  

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university preferred 
  • Valid state teaching certificate as required by state, contract/district regulations 
  • Minimum of one year experience in teaching environment preferred 
  • State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Elementary Teaching preferred
  • State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Secondary Teaching preferred
  • State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Special Teaching preferred
  • Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) preferred
  • Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice 
  • Current CPR if applicable 
  • TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
  • Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) 
  • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
