Position Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering comprehensive patient care using the full nursing process. The role includes responsibilities as a clinician, teacher, researcher, and leader, with a focus on patients with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and Spinal Cord Injury (SCI). The RN collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and maintains professional relationships.

Position Requirements

  • Licensure/Certifications:

    • Current Colorado RN license
    • BLS for Healthcare Providers (required)
    • ACLS and specialty certifications (CNRN or CRRN) (preferred)
    • Must have vent experience
    • Must have EPIC experience
  • Education:

    • Graduate of an accredited nursing program (required)
    • BSN or MSN required
  • Experience:

    • At least 1 year of RN experience – in acute rehab or med surg is required – (critical care, neuro, ICU preferred)
  • Skills & Abilities:

    • Strong knowledge in neuroscience and acute med/surg rehab nursing
    • Ability to assess and plan patient/family care
    • Understanding of patient safety and infection control
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Positive attitude and high motivation
