TITLE:                                           Software Engineer II – ServiceNow

EMPLOYER:                               Amergis Healthcare Staffing, Inc.

LOCATION:                                 7223 Lee Deforest Drive, Columbia, MD 21046 (telework 2 days/week permitted)

DUTIES:                                      Work with various ServiceNow technologies including Custom Applications, Workflows, Integration, configuration, Customization, Orchestration. Maintain ServiceNow workflows and records creation methods. Implement vendor plug-ins from the ServiceNow Store. Participate in new development, modification of the front-end, business logic, and integrate with Web API/Web services. Provide support, maintain and improve existing applications. Contribute to requirements-gathering and technical design of applications. Troubleshoot and solve problems as necessary. Follow source code and project tracking using ServiceNow, MS Team Foundation Server or GIT. Adhere to the Company’s design, development, test, implementation, and maintenance standards. Participate in project status meetings, as required, and provide project status updates. Coach and mentor junior development team members in design, coding, continuous integration, and agile development methodologies.

REQUIREMENTS:                     Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, IT Management or a related field and 2 years as ServiceNow Developer, Software Engineer, or in IT. In the alternative, Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, IT Management or a related field and 4 years as ServiceNow Developer, Software Engineer, or in IT. Prior experience must include: Testing terminology; experience with ServiceNow, JavaScript and object-oriented design principles; relational database skills using SQL Server, report development using ServiceNow, and Windows Server; Experience with consuming APIs and Webservices; TSQL programming; and Software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing and operations. ServiceNow Application Developer or Administrator certification required.

SALARY:                                     $180,149 per year
