Speech Language Pathologist – Schools 2025-26 School Year

The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting isresponsible for performing student evaluations as well as providing anddocumenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed foreach individual student and the physician’s orders.

Qualifications/Credentials

FLDOE SLP Cert/ License, 2+ years experience

  • Must be very confident in logging properly
  • Must have time management skills
  • Must be comfortable with IEPS

 Locations:

 I need 3 full time (5x/week) SLPs for North Port Sarasota, all elementary schools

Pay Rate

Local:  $60/ hour

Travel: 

– 30/ hour + 875 lodging/ week + 483          meals/week= total weekly: $2,783

        

Start Date

 August 12th 2025

Length of Contract

Full school year- 39 weeks

Weekly Schedule

Monday-Friday, accepts part time or full time

Hours/Week

Up to 37.5 hrs/ week

2. SLP screening complete 

3. Please ask: 

– What ages they want to work with

– Where in Sarasota can they travel to? 

– Are they familiar with AAC devices 

– Are they ok with higher need populations ( ASD, Down syndrome, Cerebral palsy, etc)

Interview: Phone call with SLP director, Jaclyn

 STARTING JULY 9th!
