Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (School)

The Speech Language Pathologist Assistant assists the SpeechLanguage Pathologist in providing speech and language services.  The Speech Language Pathologist Assistantwill have clinical, educational, documentation, and treatment relatedactivities while working within the scope of responsibilities/ plan of careassigned by the Speech Language Pathologist and/or physician. 

Minimum Requirements: 

Sarasota School District is seeking an SLPA 

Location: North Port Sarasota- School: Toledo Blade 

Hours: Full time, 37/week 

Grades: Elementary 

Requirements: 
– Certified SLPA 
– Must have experience with prek & elementary aged students!
– Please complete an SLP screening ( answer as best as possible with it being an SLPA position) 
– Please also ask: 
– Do they have experience with Prek and elementary children 
– Do they have experience with communication devices? 
– Are they comfortable traveling to Toledo Blade Elementary?
– What is their familiar with different disabilities such as cerebral palsy and autism?
