Now Hiring: School Aide – Support Students & Make a Daily Impact! 

Location: El Monte, CA
Pay: $17–$21/hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | School Hours

Are you passionate about helping students succeed? Amergis Staffing is looking for caring and committed School Aides to support students with instructional and behavioral needs in a school setting. This is your chance to make a meaningful difference every single day!

What You’ll Do:

• Support students 1:1 or in classroom settings with academic and behavioral goals
• Follow IEP objectives in areas like reading, math, speech, and life skills
• Assist with classroom activities, small group instruction, and social games
• Help students during lunch, recess, and community outings
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists (PT, OT, SLP), and behavioral staff
• Support students with self-care routines (toileting, hygiene, dressing)
• Assist with behavior management strategies as directed
• Help with clerical tasks like copying, organizing materials, and scoring assignments

What You’ll Need:

• Must be 18 years or older
• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to learn and support students with diverse needs
• Computer proficiency preferred
• Must pass background screening and meet all local/state/federal requirements
• English fluency (verbal and written)
• Certification as required by state or client (if applicable)
