Special Education Teacher – SY 25-26 – Pay $52/Hr.

Caseload Details:

SOAR alternative program- consists of three classrooms (2 Ed/BD and 1 autism) – this is for one of the therapeutic BD rooms. Both classes have 10 kiddos or less between them and many of the students go to ‘out classes’ during the day so numbers stay low.

Classroom Support?:

Teacher will have a classroom paraprofessional exclusively assigned to them with another who floats for students in crisis. Also one dedicated social worker tied to that programming.

 August 2025-May 2026

Start/End time:

 7:20am-2:40pm

Breaks paid/unpaid:

 Unpaid 30 min break

The Special Education Teacher, under the direction of theSpecial Education Program Administrator provides quality services to specialeducation students, kindergarten through grade 12.  The Special Education Teacher has acommitment to team participation in planning and implementation of studentprograms including special instruction, tutorial assistance and consultationwith general education staff.
