About the Role

Amergis Staffing is seeking a dedicated Mild/Moderate Special Education Teacher to support K–8 students in Santa Maria, CA. This full-time, school-based position begins August 11, 2025, and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a collaborative and student-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to student needs

• Deliver Common Core-aligned instruction in a resource or self-contained setting

• Collaborate with general education teachers, service providers, and families

• Monitor student progress and maintain compliance documentation

Qualifications

• Valid California Education Specialist Credential – Mild/Moderate

• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred)

• At least one year of classroom experience preferred

• Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
