Travel Oncology RN – Rapid Assessment | Palo Alto, CA
Start Date: Late July/Early August 2025 | 13-Week Contract

We are seeking an experienced Oncology RN for a travel assignment in Palo Alto, California, supporting the Oncology Rapid Assessment Center (ORAC) within the Admin Cancer Center. This role is ideal for a nurse with strong triage skills and a background in both inpatient and outpatient oncology care.

Position Highlights:

• Location: Palo Alto, CA
• Start Window: July–August 2025
• Unit: Admin Cancer Center – ITA (ORAC)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks, with potential for extension
• Schedule: 4x10s (40 hours/week)
• Shift: Day shift
• EMR: EPIC

Required Qualifications:

• Active CA RN License
• Minimum 3 years of Oncology RN experience
• ONS certification required
• Strong triage experience, especially in rapid assessment settings
• BLS and ACLS – American Heart Association
• EPIC experience
• Previous travel RN experience preferred
• BSN or higher preferred

This role involves assessing and managing oncology patients in a fast-paced triage environment, collaborating with providers to determine appropriate care pathways, and supporting both urgent and routine oncology needs.
