The Behavior Technician works to facilitate educational andbehavioral services with children and adults with special needs andcollaborates with school professionals and other behavioral specialists toachieve learning and behavioral goals and objectives.
The School Aide is an individual who works with students requiring instructional, and/or behavioral assistance under the supervision of the special education department, teacher and/or supervising designee. The School Aide may also provide support services to assist students with personal, physical mobility and therapeutic care needs, as established by a rehabilitation health practitioner, social worker or other health care professional.

- Locations: North (Oceanside, Carlsbad, Escondido, San Dieguito, Ramona), Central (Solana Beach, El Cajon, Grossmont), South (Chula Vista, San Ysidro)
- Tentative Start Date: August 2025
- Schedule: On-call and full-time schedules available
- Hours: 30-35 hours per week based on location
- Pay: $18-21 hourly for school aides and $23-26 for Behavior Technicians depending on experience
Minimum Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Two (2) years of pediatric experience preferred
- Behavior Technicians require a minimum of 6 months of ABA Therapy
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
