About the Role:

Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join our team for the 2025–2026 school year. In this school-based role, you will be responsible for conducting student evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering therapy services in accordance with physician orders and educational goals.

You may support one or more schools within Monroe County, working closely with students, families, and educational staff to help students reach their full communication potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
  • Provide direct therapy services to students
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations

Minimum Requirements:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in Michigan
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred (may be required by contract)
  • Current CPR certification (if applicable)
  • TB questionnairePPD, or chest x-ray (if applicable)
  • Current Health Certificate (as required by contract or state)
  • Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
