Empower Highschool Students Through AP Math

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated AP Math Teacher to join our high school faculty. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics and experience teaching Advanced Placement (AP) courses such as AP Calculus AB/BC and/or AP Statistics. This teacher will inspire students to achieve academic excellence and prepare them for college-level coursework.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, rigorous lessons aligned with AP curriculum standards.
• Prepare students for AP exams through effective instruction, practice assessments, and feedback.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with parents and guardians.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and share best practices.
• Participate in professional development and school-wide initiatives.
• Foster a classroom environment that promotes respect, curiosity, and a love for learning.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Valid state teaching certification in Secondary Mathematics.
• At least 2 years of experience teaching high school math; AP teaching experience strongly preferred.
• Deep understanding of AP curriculum and College Board standards.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Commitment to equity, inclusion, and student success.
