Weekly Pay: $1575

?? Positions Available:

2 Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Classrooms – ASD Endorsement required
1 Emotional Impairment (EI) Classroom

Position Overview

Under the direction of the Special Education Program Administrator, the Special Education Teacher provides high-quality services to students in grades K–12. This role involves collaboration with general education staff to plan and implement individualized programs, including specialized instruction, tutorial support, and consultation.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university (preferred)
Valid Michigan teaching certificate as required by state and district regulations
Minimum of one year of teaching experience (preferred)
Certification Types (preferred):
- Standard Elementary Teaching
- Standard Secondary Teaching
- Standard Special Teaching
Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1)
Current CPR certification (if applicable)
TB Questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray (if applicable)
Current health certificate (as required by contract or state)
Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
Candidates must be licensed and have ASD Endorsement
