 Now Hiring: School Nurse

As a School Nurse, you’ll support student wellness and respond to day-to-day health needs, while also playing a key role in maintaining a safe learning environment. From skinned knees to individualized care plans, you’ll be a vital part of the student support team.

 What You’ll Be Doing

• Deliver direct nursing care and health education in accordance with physician orders and professional standards

• Monitor, assess, and document student health concerns and needs

• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support individualized care plans

• Possibly oversee other clinical staff or support services, depending on the assignment

• Promote a healthy and supportive campus environment for all students and staff

 Requirements to Join Our Team

• Graduate of an accredited RN, LPN, or LVN program

• Active nursing license in the state(s) of practice

• One year of nursing experience (preferred, but not required—we value passion and potential!)

• Current CPR certification

• Clear TB screening: PPD or chest x-ray as applicable

• Current health certificate (based on contract or state requirements)

• Must meet all federal, state, and local guidelines

• Must be at least 18 years of age
