Schedule: Monday–Friday (20 hours/week)
Pay Rate: $20/hour
Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a dedicated anddetail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team on apart-time basis. In this role, you’ll support physicians in the examination andtreatment of patients, ensuring high-quality care and a smooth clinicalexperience.
?? KeyResponsibilities:
- Assist physicians with patient exams and procedures
- Perform phlebotomy and other clinical tasks as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Support front-office clerical duties as required
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment
? Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program (certification preferred)
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience preferred
- Phlebotomy experience required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Current CPR certification (if applicable)
- Current PPD or Chest X-ray and Health Certificate (if applicable)
- Must be at least 18 years of age
