Corrections Registered Nurse (RN) – Manson, NC

Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: 12-Hour Evening Shift | 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM
Schedule: 36/48 Hour Rotation
Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Corrections Registered Nurse (RN) for a rewarding opportunity in a correctional facility located in Manson, NC. This is a great chance to make a meaningful impact while working in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Compensation:
- Travel RN Pay:
- $2,146/week for 36 hours
- $2,646/week for 48 hours
- Local RN Pay:
- $50/hour
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients in a correctional setting
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patient health and respond to medical emergencies
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Requirements:
- Active RN license in North Carolina (or compact state)
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience (corrections experience preferred)
- BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross)
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
