School Based Behavior Technician

Pay: $21-25/hr (depends on experience)

We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and skilled Behavior Therapist (BT) to join our school-based team. The BT will work directly with students who have behavioral, emotional, or developmental challenges, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or school psychologist.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and small group behavioral support to students during the school day.
• Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and collect data on student progress.
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student success.
• Assist in developing social, communication, and academic skills through evidence-based practices.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development sessions.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or related field preferred.
• Experience working with children or adolescents in educational or therapeutic settings.
• Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles is a plus.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and patient in challenging situations.
• Must pass background check and meet district employment requirements.
