Amergis Educational Staffing is partnered with a school in Chatham,MA who is currently seeking an Occupational Therapist to work with students ona contractual basis.

 

Details of the Position Include:

Location: Chatham, MA

Pay Rate: $65/hour (based on experience)

Start Date: July 7th

Duration: 6 Weeks

Schedule: Monday-Thursday 8:30 – 11:30 (flexible on days/hours)

Requirements:  MA OT Licensure

Description: Amergis is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist toprovide services for a caseload of nine students, including six elementaryschool students, one middle school student, and one high school student. Theposition requires 4 hours per week of direct therapy services, with anadditional 2 hours allocated for planning, documentation, and collaborationwith educational staff and families. This is a great opportunity for an OT whois passionate about supporting students across a range of developmental stagesin a school-based setting.

The Occupational Therapist is responsible for performing client evaluations, developing and providing occupational therapy services, and documenting services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each patient.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the State of practice
• Must be a graduate of an accredited school or program of Occupational Therapy
• One (1) year of prior professional Occupational Therapy experience preferred
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) 
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
• Must be at least 18 years of age
