Experience working directly with the New York State Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) is required and must be clearly listed on the resume.
Full Time & Part Time Available
The Long Term Care RN assumes responsibility and accountability for the delivery of care for patients in a Long Term Care and/or Assisted Living Facilities. The nurse demonstrates ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner with supervision, as well as critical thinking and performance abilities in the coordination of patient care. Additionally, this individual performs according to nursing standards and is accountable for managing patient care and assisting others in the management of patient care.
Minimum Requirements:
- Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
General Comments
Location: Aspire WNY – Buffalo, NY
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Employment Type: Full-Time or Part-Time

Overview:
Aspire WNY is seeking compassionate and experienced Registered Nurses to support our residential program. This role involves providing clinical oversight to multiple group homes serving individuals with developmental disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing oversight for 2–4 residential group homes.
- Conduct weekly site visits and respond to urgent needs as required.
- Perform assessments, deliver training, and support staff with clinical guidance.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with OPWDD regulations.
Qualifications:
- Current NYS RN license in good standing.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
