Assignment Details |
Specialty includes pre and post-op open heart management- CABG, valve replacement or repair, mitral clip & TAVR, thoracotomy, VATS, ect. Lung cases including pneumothorax, hemothorax, chest tube. Vascular surgeries. Advanced care cardiac patients with continuous telemetry. Excellent critical thinking skills, cardiac monitor interpretation, Vent Ratio’s: 1:5 Daily Census: 32 / 36 beds |

2 yrs experience + any specifics listed in the VMS per position Must have EPIC experience Must have vent experience Pass an online EKG tele competency assessment before starting the assignment. BLS, ACLS required, NIHSS preferred – must be able to read and interpret strips IV Start Nurses will be fitted for N95 prior to working on the HRRU unit unless PAPR is offered/needed. Minimum 2 years’ experience in a large hospital; level 1 preferred will accept level 2 experience.
