?? About the Role:

As a Behavior Technician, you’ll work directly with students who require instructional and behavioral support. Under the supervision of the Special Education Department and other professionals, you’ll help implement individualized education plans (IEPs), support personal care needs, and foster independence and growth.

? Key Responsibilities:

• Implement IEP goals in academics, behavior, and life skills
• Support teacher-led activities, small group instruction, and one-on-one sessions
• Assist students in general education settings
• Provide personal care and mobility support as needed
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff
• Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism
• Assist with behavior management strategies under professional guidance
• Help with classroom organization, materials prep, and clerical tasks

? Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• CPR certification (if applicable)
• TB test or chest x-ray (if applicable)
• Health certificate (as required)
• Completion of new hire and competency training
• Strong communication and computer skills
• Understanding of HIPAA and confidentiality standards
