About the Role

Amergis Staffing is hiring Mild/Moderate Special Education Teachers to support students with learning disabilities, ADHD, and mild behavioral needs in K–12 school settings. This role focuses on delivering individualized instruction and fostering inclusive learning environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to student needs

• Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies for diverse learners

• Provide small-group and individualized instruction

• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions

• Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and support staff

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field

• Valid California teaching credential with Mild/Moderate authorization

• Experience with IEP development and implementation

• Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills
