RN OR

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Operating Room Nurse responsible for scrubbing and/or circulating duties for operative procedures; department admissions to the operative suite.  He/She is responsible to the Nurse Manager and is directly supervised by the RN in the operating rooms to which he/she is assigned.

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state in which he/she practices
• Documentation and confirmation of one year of operating room clinical experience in an acute care hospital within the last three years preferred
• Current BLS card.
• Current Health Certificate (if applicable)
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
• Minimum 3 years experience Level 1 trauma center experience. 
• EPIC, surgicount and TECSYS experience Required:
• Cases seen: OR Trauma, ortho, spine and neuro Preferred: Previous travel experience
• Required: Experienced in General, Robotics (DaVinci & Mako Ortho), Urology, ENT, Neuro (includes cervical fusion and lumbar laminectomy), Plastics (includes abdominoplasty and breast augmentation), GYN. Specializing in ortho which includes total knee replacements, total hips anterior and posterior approach.
• Shift: 40 hours, 630a-5p with 30% 1p-1130p shifts per department needs, occasional weekend work. Call: 6 weekdays and 6 weekends calls in 6 weeks work schedule
