The MRI Technologist uses magnetic resonance imagingscanners and related equipment to capture specific images ordered by aphysician to aid in patient diagnosis.
Minimum Requirements:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in the radiology field
- Registered with the ARRT; if required by state regulationsor contract specification.
- One (1) one year of experience in related field preferred
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Shift dates/schedule: 7a-5p. 36 hours total/week. (Three 10 hour shift per week & one 6-hour shift per week)
- Weekends Required: every 6th weekend and holiday
- Call Required: no
- Floating required: no
- Certifications required: AART, BLS
- # of years of experience required: 1
- Skills required: x-ray mri; must have experience with Siemens equipment
