Job Title: Early Childhood Education Teacher Location: Lompoc and Santa Maria, California Employment Type: Full-Time | 2025–2026 School Year

Position Overview We are seeking a nurturing, creative, and dedicated Early Childhood Education Teacher to join our team. This role is responsible for fostering a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for children ages 3–5. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for early learning, strong classroom management skills, and a commitment to supporting the whole child.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum aligned with early learning standards

  • Promote social-emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play-based learning

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and inclusive classroom environment

  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues

  • Conduct assessments and communicate student progress with families

  • Comply with licensing, health, and safety regulations

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field

  • Valid California Child Development Teacher Permit (or eligibility)

  • Completion of 12+ ECE units (including Child Growth & Development, Child, Family & Community, and Curriculum)

  • CPR/First Aid certification and TB clearance (or willingness to obtain)

  • Prior experience in a licensed preschool or early learning setting preferred

Pay rate is for candidates 50+ miles away from site.
