Amergis Staffing is currently seeking both TRAVEL andLocal experienced CNA nurses for Black Mountain, NC!

 JFK is one of two alcohol and drug abuse treatmentfacilities in North Carolina operated by the NC Department of Health and HumanServices. It currently provides inpatient and outpatient services, includingmedical detox, psychiatric stabilization, substance use disorder and mentalhealth treatment using best practice standards — including MotivationalInterviewing, Trauma-Informed Care and “Seeking Safety.”

Shift:

·       Days X7 CNA 6:45A-7:15P EOW

·       NightsX8 CNA 6:45 P – 7:15A EOW

Hours: 36hrs a week

Contract Length: 13 wks

Number of Openings: 15

Start Date: 7/7

Must live 50 miles away for Travel Pay

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) performs directpatient care under the direct supervision of a RN or LPN/LVN or other licensedmedical professional. The CNA/NA performs a variety of individualized patient careactivities and related non-professional services necessary in caring for thepersonal needs and comforts of patients.

Minimum Requirements:

• Prefer one year experience as a certified nursing assistantwithin the last three years
• Graduate from certified nursing assistant program withsubsequent documentation as a certified nursing assistant per staterequirements with proof of verification as being an active certification and ingood-standing
• Knowledge of medical terminology and knowledge of clericalfunctions
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation) 
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
• Must be at least 18 years of age
