LVN School Nurse -1.1 Student Support

School Nurse (1:1 Student Support)

Are you a compassionate nurse who loves working directly with students? As a School Nurse, you’ll play a key role in supporting a student’s well-being in a school setting through one-on-one care. You’ll apply your nursing skills to help students thrive both physically and emotionally during their school day.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide one-on-one health support to a student during the school day

• Follow physician instructions and school health protocols

• Occasionally supervise or assist with broader health services as needed

• Work as part of a supportive team aligned with Amergis Healthcare Staffing’s values

What You’ll Need:

• A nursing degree from an accredited program

• A current LPN, LVN, or RN license (depending on your state)

• At least 1 year of nursing experience (preferred)

• Up-to-date CPR certification

• A recent tuberculosis test (PPD) or chest X-ray, if needed

• A current health certificate (depending on state or school requirements)

• Compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations

• Must be 18 years or older
