Hiring For Moderate/Severe Special Education Teacher – 25-25 School Year!

Are you passionate about helping students with special needs thrive? We’re looking for a caring, team-oriented Special Education Teacher to support K–12 students and help build meaningful learning experiences tailored to their abilities.

In this role, you’ll collaborate with staff to provide individualized instruction, offer tutorial support, and work side by side with general education teachers to ensure every student’s success.

• Start Date: July 17, 2025 
• Schedule: 7.5 hours per day | 37.5 hours per week
• Pay Rate: Competitive pay as well as Travel offers for candidates outside of San Diego. 

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (preferred)

• Valid state teaching certification (as required by local and district regulations)

• At least one year of classroom teaching experience (preferred)

• Certifications (preferred):

  • M/S Special Education Credential

  • Standard Elementary

  • Standard Secondary

  • Standard Special Education

  • Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1)

• Current CPR certification (if applicable)

• TB questionnaire or screening, and health clearance as needed

• Must be at least 18 years old and meet all federal, state, and local requirements
