Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a EC Teacher for the 2025 – 26 SY. Must have NC teaching license and a year or more experience.
School Details:
- ~700 kids
- 7:30a – 3p
- 1 Self-Contained EC Teacher
- 5 kids (K-3); AU stemming behaviors
- 2 TAs in class
- 1 Resource/Inclusion Teacher – Middle School
- Middle School ages
- Case load = ~28 kids
- Push in (only a few kids) and mostly pull out (small groups)
Duties:
- Complete lesson plans
- Complete progress reports
- Use assessments and data to inform instructional practices
- Utilize IEP information to adapt instruction to reach the needs of students
Requirements:
- Must be licensed teacher in North Carolina or hold active out of state Special Education Teaching License
- Must be licensed by NCDPI in EC General Curriculum
- Minimum 1 year of teaching experience required
- Passionate teacher who puts the students first
- Strong desire to help kids
