Amergis is now hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants for the upcoming 2025/2026 school year in Soledad, California –including travel contracts for those open to new experiences and locations.
Position Highlights:
- Pay Rate: $35-$50 *depends on experience & school district
- Travel Package: $2,366/week
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 37.5 hours/week
- Caseload: Amergisum of 55 students
- Contract Length: August 2025 – June 2026

Qualifications We Are Looking For:
- Meets requirements for Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
- Licensed or certified to practice in the state
- 1+ year of SLP experience preferred
Qualifications We Are Looking For:
- Must be a graduate of a SLPA program with an associate’s degree, or have a bachelor’s degree in a speech-language pathology or communication disorders program
- Successful completion of a minimum of 100 hours of supervised field work experience or its clinical experience equivalent as required by state and/or contract
- Current certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in the State of Practice
- One (1) year of prior professional Speech-Language Pathology Assistant experience preferred;
- TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
