- Schedule: Monday-Friday

- Requirements: FLDOE “School Counselor” Endorsement
- Provide individual and group counseling to students
- Address mental health concerns and support emotional development
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Support crisis intervention and referral processes
- Florida Department of Education (FLDOE) School Counselor Certification (Required)
- 2+ years of experience in a school or youth-focused mental health setting
- Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Nursing, or related Human Development field (Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or Master’s depending on state/facility requirements)
- Current CPR certification (if applicable)
- TB Questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray (if applicable)
- Current Health Certificate (as required by contract or state)
- Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age

Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking compassionate and qualified School Counselors to support students’ emotional and mental well-being across our 11 school locations. This is a position for the upcoming Fall 2025 school year. While specific site needs are still being finalized, we are actively onboarding professionals who are open to working in Clearwater/Pinellas, Tampa, or Pasco.
As a School Counselor, you will provide direct counseling services to students, support mental health initiatives, and collaborate with school staff to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
