Social Worker Opening (Overnights) - Lowell, MA

Amergis Healthcare Services is partnered with a respected facility in Lowell, MA, currently seeking LCSW or Masters Level Unlicensed Social Worker to assist on a contractual basis.

Details of the position include:

• Location: Lowell, MA
• Duration: 13 week assignment (High likelihood of temp-to-perm)
• Facility Type: Mobile Crisis Intervention
• Schedule: Friday – Sunday, and 2 weekdays (flexible) 11pm-7pm
• Salary: $45-$50/hr unlicensed, $50-$55/hr Licensed 

Job Duties:

• Provides counseling to patient’s in a variety of settings including medical facilities, hospitals, clinics, learning centers and other organizations that are in need of assistance.
• Ensures a trauma-informed environment that promotes safety and recovery.
• Provides psychiatric and substance use evaluation of individuals and families in crisis in
• community, clinic, and residential settings.
• Provides crisis intervention services including crisis case management and short-term crisis counseling as follow-up from initial evaluation.
• Maintains linkages with specific community services by providing documented case
• consultations and problem resolution.
• Offers recommendations to clients regarding service options and support in accessing.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Licensing/Certification according to state/facility/contract requirements
• The Counselor may possess a Master’s Degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Counseling, Nursing or other Human Development Major
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) 
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
• Must be at least 18 years of age
