Amergis Staffing is currently seeking highly skilled GNAs for 2nd Shift LTC assignments in Salisbury, MD.
Position Details:
· Contract Length: 13 Weeks (Extensions Available)
· Number of Openings: 2
· Shift Length: 8hrs
· Start Date: ASAP
· Schedule: 2nd Shift 3p-11:30p – Every Other Weekend Required
- Position: LTC GNA
- Openings: 2
- 2 – 3:00pm-11:30pm
- Hours: Monday-Friday – 40 hours per week with E/O weekend and E/O holiday required
- Contracted hours are guaranteed however this does not apply to shifts that are picked up.
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks with a chance of extension
- Start Date: ASAP
- Requests For Time Off not accepted during the summer months
Additional Information:
- Required Skills: 1 year minimum of recent hands-on experience in a LTC/Assisted Living setting required.
- Specific licensure and certifications/registrations required: Active MD or compact license & active BLS required

- Ratio: 18 total residents
- Day/Evening Shift: 3 RN/LPN’s & 3 GNA’s

The Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) performs direct patient care under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. The Geriatric Nursing Assistant performs a variety of individualized patient care activities including bathing, dressing, feeding and transporting as well as related non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comforts of the geriatric patient population.
Minimum Requirements:
- Active CNA with Geriatric Certification, required
- Experience with memory care patients, preferred
- Prefer one year of geriatric nursing assistant experience as a certified nursing assistant within the last three years.
- Graduate from certified nursing assistant program with subsequent documentation as a certified nursing assistant per state requirements with proof of verification as being an active certification and having the ability to be work with geriatrics per state requirements. • Knowledge of medical terminology and knowledge of clerical functions.
- Current CPR
- TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
