School Nurse (LVN) 2025-2026 SY

Pay rage : $32- $36 (DOE)

We are seeking a qualified Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide healthcare support to a student(s) in a school setting. The nurse will oversee the student’s medical needs, ensure adherence to treatment plans, and collaborate with school personnel and parents as necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Administer first aid and prescribed medical care

• Monitor and document student’s health status, including seizure activity

• Provide G-tube feeding as required

• Maintain secure management of medication and health supplies

• Communicate with parents and school staff regarding health concerns

• Ensure compliance with school health policies and state regulations

• Provide support during student transportation, if applicable

Qualifications:

• Current LPN/LVN license in the practicing state

• BLS certification (Basic Life Support)

• PPD or Chest X-ray (as required)

• Preferred: Experience in pediatrics or school nursing (previous pediatric experience is a bonus)

• Knowledge of child development, medical disorders, and public health regulations

• Strong communication and documentation skills

• Computer proficiency preferred
