Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking multiple Behavior Technicians for K-12 schools in Lodi and Stockton, CA. Behavior Technicians work one-on-one with students who receive special education or related services, have a 504 plan, or with students in a Special Education Classroom.

Some cases include:

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
  • Pervasive Developmental Disorder Not Otherwise Specified (PDDNOS)
  • Childhood Disintegrative Disorder (CDD)
  • Cerebral Palsy
  • Down Syndrome
  • Various birth disorders
  • ADD/ADHD
  • Learning disabilities
  • Other

Location: Lodi or Stockton, CA

Schedule: Monday-Friday (5-6 hours a day between the hours of 7:45am and 3:20pm)

  • Part-time options available

Pay: $18 an hour starting rate (varies based on experience)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Follow the instructions of the BCBA/program supervisor
  • Provide behavior assistance/interventions to assigned clients
  • Provide behavior support services
  • Provide crisis intervention
  • Implement behavior plans
  • Provide administrative support to teachers
  • Monitor child development
  • Prepare educational materials
  • Collect and analyze data on student behavior and progress
  • Provide academic assistance
  • Assist with mobility and daily activities
  • Offer social support and help with social skills development
  • Perform other duties as assigned/necessary

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Current CPR certification (we can help you sign up for a class)
  • Ability to effectively elicit/provide information to and from appropriate individuals (including, but not limited to, supervisors, co-workers, clients) via strong communication skills; proficiency in the English language may be required
  • TB test required (if you do not have one from within the last 90 days, we can set one up for you)
